Hassan uses three-dimensional images and digital planning to create the prosthetic tooth and can manipulate color and shape for a secure and comfortable fit. Once the tooth is designed, the CEREC milling device will manufacture the dental restoration. Hassan will ensure that you are satisfied with the shape, size, and color of the tooth before placing it permanently. The dental crown will be attached to the prepared existing tooth or dental implant. CEREC digital technology stores patient information for quick and accurate recreation of a dental restoration.
If a restoration breaks or is lost, Dr. Hassan will be able to access previous restorations and can easily re-print your tooth. To receive your crown the same day, we'll first need to anesthetize the affected tooth and surrounding gum tissue. When you feel comfortable, we'll use a same-day digital device to create a virtual image of your tooth. This image ensures that the new same-day crown fits perfectly to the adjacent teeth and to the tooth that is above or below.
